Within a few blocks from Berwin Oak is Gulfport's Arts District, many Unique Shops, Great Restaurants, and Beach on Boca Ciega Bay.
Gulfport Arts District
Gulfport is home to a wide array of eclectic shops and dining experiences. Lively downtown pubs provide nightly entertainment and weekends are always bustling. The First Friday and Third Saturday of each month there is an ArtWalk. Shops are open late and there are a large number of interesting and unique street side vendors who set up just for the events. You're likely to find a diverse mix of live music and other performers that is distinctly "Gulfport Bohemian" in nature. It's a unique experience that's hard to find anywhere else.
Grand Central District
The Grand Central District is quickly becoming a predominately gay and gay friendly business district that has many galleries, antique stores, unique retail stores and an assortment of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops.
Salvador Dali Museum
The world's most comprehensive collection of Salvador Dali's surrealistic art works is housed at St. Petersburg's world-class Salvador Dali Museum, downtown on Bayboro Harbor.

The Pier
It's the city's landmark, that inverted pyramid that juts a half mile into Tampa Bay from downtown's shores. The Pier, attracting two million visitors a year, is a five-story marketplace with shops and restaurants, The Pier Aquarium, an observation deck, a bait shop and more.
Johns Pass
This quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, cruise lines, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

Sunken Gardens
Sunken Gardens is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city. As St. Petersburg's oldest living museum, this 100 year old garden is home to some of the oldest tropical plants in the region.

Weedon Island Preserve
Take a walk along three miles of boardwalk and paved trails at Weedon Island, a pristine and natural resource once home to Seminole Indians. The park features a 50-foot-high look out site over Tampa Bay waters that shows a panoramic view of downtown St. Petersburg, Tropicana Field, and Tampa. An ideal park for biking, blading, canoeing, and birdwatching. 

Clam Bayou
This 10 acre nature park/estuary provides several environments; Nature/hiking/boardwalk trails, Observation decks and docks, Canoe/Kayak launch, Upland natural vegetation, Marsh and Mangrove forests, to the deeper waters of Boca Ciega Bay. These areas provide habitat and food to a variety of species such as fiddler crabs, clams, wading birds, small animals, dolphins and manatees; to name a few.

Pinellas Trail
The Pinellas Trail is a 47-mile fitness trail built on abandoned railways. One of the longest linear parks in the United States, it runs from Tarpon Springs to the north to its terminus in south St. Petersburg (727-549-6099).

Egmont Key
Accessible only by private boat, Egmont Key has a unique natural and cultural history, including a lighthouse that has stood since 1858.
  Downtown Saturday Morning Market
More than 100 vendors offer fresh produce, gourmet and prepared foods, crafts, and more, with live music and entertainment.

Sunset Beach
Appropriately named for its early history of pirates, Indians and buried treasure, the barrier island community known today as Treasure Island served as home to the mound builders known as the Timucuan Indians and pirates seeking sanctuary from the sea.

Manatee Center
An environmental education facility like no other, the Manatee Viewing Center reopens for the public November 1, 2009. You can experience a tidal walkway showcasing vibrant Florida plants and birds, butterfly gardens, our educational building, and – when the water temperature of Tampa Bay falls below 68 degrees Fahrenheit – manatees. No pets, please, but service dogs are permitted. Admission and parking are free!
